Ols is made for schools and everybody else who wants to deliver instructions through the internet. Its target is to deliver a completely integrated school system. The goal is to get a modular system with courses for mathematics, language, history etc.


The system will be written in php and there will be a mysql database for all the info.
The first goal is to build a system which is designed for elementery schools. There are lots of expensive packages for schools to learn students mathematics, language etc. Ols is a open source light weight package which they can use for free under the GPL license.
Another goal is to try and keep it as small as possible because most of the time schools have limited computers.
